Our meeting generally starts with a 30 minute guided meditation, followed by a talk or sharing of an aspect of the teachings and practice, and ending with some time for group discussion and Q&A. Occasionally, some evenings may also emphasize silent practice, guided meditations or reflections, small group interactions or other activities, depending on who is facilitating the evening.

The meeting will open at 6:15 am for those who prefer to sit longer. The instructions will start at 6:30 am. We will be focusing on developing the skill of paying attention to our inner and outer experiences with acceptance, patience, and compassion. By intentionally practicing mindfulness, deliberately paying more careful moment-to-moment attention, we can live more fully and less on ‘automatic pilot,’ thus, being more present for our own lives.
